NLP (Natural Language Processing) Specialist

Job Title: NLP Specialist
Department: Data, Analytics & AI
Reports To: AI Lead / Head of Data Science

Role Overview

We are looking for an NLP Specialist to develop and optimize language-based AI solutions, including text classification, summarization, extraction, semantic search, chatbots, and document intelligence systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and improve NLP models and language pipelines
• Develop solutions for classification, NER, sentiment, summarization, and semantic search
• Prepare and preprocess text datasets
• Fine-tune and evaluate NLP and LLM-based models
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams on language-based applications
• Monitor model accuracy and support production deployments

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, AI, Linguistics, Data Science, or related field
• Strong Python skills and experience with NLP libraries
• Understanding of text preprocessing, embeddings, transformers, and evaluation metrics
• Experience with NLP model development and deployment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Hugging Face, spaCy, NLTK, vector databases, and RAG
• Familiarity with multilingual NLP and domain-specific language systems
• Experience with enterprise search and conversational AI
