Electrical Design Engineer (Renewable Systems)

Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Department: Energy, Sustainability & Smart Infrastructure / Electrical Design
Reports To: Engineering Lead / Project Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to prepare electrical designs, single-line diagrams, layouts, cable sizing, protection schemes, and technical documentation for renewable energy and smart infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for solar and building energy projects
• Prepare single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and protection layouts
• Support inverter, panel, and load-side electrical design
• Coordinate with site, mechanical, and BIM teams
• Review compliance with design and safety standards
• Support technical documentation and as-built updates

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in electrical design for energy or infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of system calculations, drawings, and electrical coordination
• Ability to read and prepare engineering documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with solar PV electrical design or smart building systems
• Familiarity with low-voltage systems, protection design, and renewable interfaces.
