DevOps Automation Engineer

Job Title: DevOps Automation Engineer
Department: Infrastructure / Engineering
Reports To: Cloud Architect / Head of Engineering

Role Overview

We are looking for a DevOps Automation Engineer to build and maintain automated deployment pipelines, infrastructure-as-code frameworks, and release processes that improve reliability, speed, and consistency across engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications and services
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
• Improve release management, deployment reliability, and rollback processes
• Work closely with developers, SREs, and cloud teams on automation standards
• Maintain build systems, artifact management, and deployment workflows
• Support containerization and orchestration practices
• Optimize engineering workflows for speed, reliability, and compliance
• Document automation frameworks, SOPs, and environment setups

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and scripting
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC/configuration tools
• Strong understanding of release pipelines, environment management, and deployment best practices
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in multi-cloud or enterprise deployment environments
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, secrets management, and policy automation
• Exposure to security automation and platform engineering concepts
