Role Overview

We are looking for an AI Data Annotation Lead to oversee training data preparation, labeling quality, taxonomy creation, and annotation team performance for machine learning and generative AI projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead annotation operations across text, image, audio, and structured data tasks
• Design labeling guidelines, taxonomies, and quality standards
• Manage annotators, vendors, and review cycles
• Ensure datasets are accurate, balanced, and fit for ML use
• Partner with data scientists to align labels with model objectives
• Track productivity, quality metrics, and annotation turnaround times

Required Qualifications

• Experience managing data annotation or AI data operations
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Knowledge of dataset preparation and labeling workflows
• Ability to manage teams, SOPs, and QA processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with annotation tools and human-in-the-loop systems
• Familiarity with NLP, computer vision, or RLHF-style tasks
• Experience working with large-scale training datasets
